Cuban knight Anole Care
Cuban knight anoles are native to cuba and non native to florida but has large populations in florida and some parts of the south. These lizards rarely leave their branches, unless they are looking for water and or crickets. Cuban knight anoles are a medium size lizard that diet consist of mainly insects and occasionally fruits. Cuban knight anoles are the largest anole species in the world. Cuban knight anoles are diurnal meaning they are active during the day and sleep at night. These lizards have nice colors. Llike most anoles this species has a large throat fan.
Cuban knight anoles use their throat fan during mating, territorial displays and just to vent out heat on a hot day.
Cuban knight anoles are generally a very aggressive lizard and will bite if provoked. Males should not be housed together they will fight and attack eachother.
The minimum cage requirement for 1 anole is a 18 by 18 by 36 foot tall cage. But bigger is better for them.
Provide decor like branches, live or artificial plants good choices for live plants are pothos, ficus, and philodendron.
The humidity should be 50 to 80 percent because these lizards come from tropical regions.
Day temperatures should be 70 to 85 degrees the basking spot should be 95 to 100 degrees.
Use a minimum of 2 to 3 inches of reptile bark bedding or coconut fiber bought at local pet stores.
When cuban knight anoles are stressed or sick they are brown, but when they are in a good mood they stay bright green.
Use a daytime uvb bulb bought at local pet stores. Keep the bulb on for 12 hours a day.
Dust insects in reptile calcium once a week. This can be bought at pet stores.
Insects Crickets, Mealworms, and occasional waxworms.
Cuban knight anoles can become tame over time but just need to get used to you.
Mist the cage 2 to 3 times a day. Also use a water bowl this helps with humidity.
This lizard will some times eat fruit.
Size 15 to 22 inches
Life span 10 to 15 years.

Green Ameiva Care
Green ameivas are pretty docile for the most part, they will run but once they are in your hands they are calm. Just be sure too have both hands available because they do use sudden quick movements.
Green ameivas do need a bit of space though, a 40 gallon is good for 1 possibly 2 green ameivas. They do well with temperatures around 75 to 85 degrees with a basking spot of 90 degrees.
Use decor like drift wood, live or fake plants, good choices are pothos, ficus, and some philodenron.
Insects Crickets, mealworms, and occasional waxworms.
Provide a water dish even if the lizard does not drink from it. Water dishes help with humidity wich should be moderate to high.
Humidity should be 60 to 80 percent.
Day temperatures should be 75 to 85 Night temperatures should be 68 to 75.
Mist the terrarium 2 to 3 times a day.
Use a 2 to 3 inch layer of bark bedding or coconut fiber bought at local pet stores.
Dust insects in reptile calcium 2 to 3 times a week.
Green ameivas are diurnal wich means they are mostly active during the day.
Use a day time reptile uvb bulb bought at local pet stores.
Green ameivas are terrestrial meaning they are mostly on the ground of the cage. Longer cages are better than taller cages.
Size 15 to 26 inches
Life span 8 to 10 years with proper care.
House Gecko Care
Like most geckos these geckos are nocturnal, wich means they are sleep during the day and active at night. If you keep the terrarium in your room you might hear them at night moving around. These geckos get stressed by handling so it should be minimum. They are fast so be careful when grabbing them and make sure not to grab them by the tail. Because like in most lizards it is a defense mechanism and can break off. It will grow back but it will never be the same.
House geckos come from a tropical environment and need a warm, humid home.
These geckos should be fed at night or in the afternoon.
House geckos can be housed in a 10 gallon terrarium for 1 to 2 geckos if you want to house more add atleast 5 gallons per gecko. Be sure to use a screen lid for the cage.
Provide a shallow water dish even if the gecko does not drink from it this will aid in humidity. Mist the cage two to three times a day to maintain humidity. Humidity should be 60 to 80 percent. A hydrometer will help you keep track of humidity levels.
Include branches and multiple hiding areas and plants fake or live. Some good choices are pothos, ficus, and some philodendron.
Day temperatures 75 to 85 degrees and night temperatures can drop to 65 to 75 degrees.
Use a thermometer inside the cage to monitor the temperature.
Use a 2 to 3 inch layer of reptile bark bedding or coconut fiber bought at local pet stores.
Insects Crickets, mealworms, and occasional waxworms. But crickets are the main staple.
Dust insects in a reptile calcium twice a week. Calcium can be bought at local pet stores.
Size 4 to 6 inches
Life span 3 to 5 years with proper care

Pixie Frog Care
Pixie Frogs come from a moist and humid environment. They are cannibalistic and will eat each other. These frogs need to be housed individually.
A glass terrarium works best, at least a 10 gallon terrarium is the minimum. Use a screen lid with this habitat.
Temperatures in the habitat should vary between daytime and night time hours.
Use 2 thermometers and a hydrometer to monitor humidity levels in the habitat.
Temperatures in the habitat should be 75 to 80 degrees in the daytime and can drop to 68 to 72 degrees at night. These temperatures can be reached with a under tank heater bought at local pet stores. But human heat pads will work fine on the low setting. You can also keep these frogs at room temperature as long as your house stays above 70 degrees.
Also these frogs are nocturnal so they do not need a heat lamp. But one low wattage bulb can be provided to keep them warm.
Use a 2 to 3 inch layer of coconut fiber or bark bedding sold at local pet stores. But these frogs like to burrow so the deeper the bedding the better.
Waste should be cleaned out weekly and the whole terrarium should be cleaned once a month.
These frogs need a shallow water dish to soak themselves if needed.
Provide branches for climbing and hiding. Live plants also help with humidity levels. A good selection are pothos, ficus, and some philodendron.
Pixie frogs are insectivores, meaning their diet consist of mainly insects.
These frogs require calcium supplementation and will benefit from a reptile multivitamin as a part of their diet.
It is best to feed them at night because they are nocturnal.
Insects Crickets, mealworms, and occasional waxworms. But Crickets work best. These frogs can eat every other day and insects should be dusted in calcium twice a week
Add water dechlorinator to provide water for this frog in the frogs water dish.
Water bowls should be emptied and refilled daily.
Life Span 10 to 20 years with proper care.
Size 10 to 12 inches

Green Anole Care
Anoles live in the southeast united states and caribbean islands and require a warm and humid habitat. Also anoles of the same sex may be housed together if they don't fight.
A 10 gallon terrarium is minimum for 2 anoles, a bigger terrarium will be needed for more. id say add 5 gallons atleast per anole. taller enclosures are recommended these lizards like to climb, be sure to use a screen lid with the habitat.
Temperature gradients are required from top to bottom of the habitat to regulate body temperature. Temperature should vary from day time to night time hours.
The habitat should be have two thermometers one high and one low and one hydrometer to monitor the temperature and humidity levels.
The basking spot should be the warmest spot in the habitat during the day. heat is provided by a high wattage heat bulb placed directly above the basking spot. during night time hours the light should be turned off.
Anole are diurnal, meaning they are most active during the day. They need uvb and uva light flourescent bulb for 12 houres a day these bulbs can be bought at local petstores.
For the substrate use 2 to 3 inches of coconut fiber or bark bedding bought at local petstores. Clean the lizards wast weekly and clean out the cage monthly.
Include decor to elevate your anole closer to the heat lamp for basking.
Add rock or wood hiding places in the cool area of the home for the lizard to hide.
Provide branches for the lizard to climb on the anoles love habitat plants live or fake just make sure they aren't toxic, good choices are ficus, pothos, and some philodendron.
Anoles are insectivores, meaning they eat most of the time live insects. Crickets are the primary source for food, but anoles need a variety of insects in their diet, so it is important to feed different insects from time to time.
Anoles need calcium supplementation and will benefit from a reptile multivitamin.
Be sure to clean water bowls and food bowls daily.
Insects Crickets, mealworms, and on occasion waxworms.
Water mist the insides of the enclosure with a spray bottle that has not been used before and anole will lick droplets from the sides and plants in the terrarium.
Life span 5 to 7 years with proper care.

Long tailed lizard Care
They can be housed with other small tropical lizards a good choice are Green Anole, Green tree frog, Common House Gecko.
Terrarium; a 10 gallon terrarium is recommended for 1 Long tailed lizard, but a 20 gallon or la
larger is good for 2 to 3 lizards.
A taller terrarium is recommended as this lizard likes to climb. remmember to use a screen lid with the terrarium.
Long tailed lizards require a temperature gradient from each side of the terrarium to regulate their body temperature. Temperatures in the habitat should vary from daytime to nighttime.
Heating; The habitat should have two thermometers one on the warm side one on the cool side, and a hydrometer to monitor humidity levels.
The basking spot should be the warmest point in the habitat during the day. heat should be provided by a high wattage heat bulb placed directly above the basking spot. at night the heat lamp should be turned off.
Humidity; 50 to 80 percent is good you can provide this by spraying inside of the terrarium with a spray bottle that has never been used for anything else. or one bought at a pet store.
Day cool area; 75 to 85 degrees. Day basking spot; 85 to 90 degrees.
Lighting; Long tailed lizards are Diurnal, meaning they are most active during the day. use a day time uvb bulb, and a heat bulb bought from local pet store's for about 10 to 12 hours a day.
Substrate; Use a 2 to 3 inch layer of coconut fiber or bark bedding bought at your local pet store.
Decor; Include decor to elevate your lizard closer to the heat source.
Add; wood or rock hiding place in the cool area of the terrarium bought at your local pet store.
Provide; Branches, sticks of driftwood, and artificial rocks can be bought at your pet store.
Diet; Long tailed lizards are insectivores wich means they eat mainly insects and the insects must be live.
Insects; Crickets, mealworms, occasional waxworms. Crickets as the main staple mealworms have a hard outer shell wich is hard to digest for your lizard should be occasional. and waxworms as a treat becuse they are high in fat.
Water; Long tailed lizards may drink from a shallow water dish, but when you mist the cage the lizard will often drink from the droplets inside of the terrarium and thats how they will mainly drink.
Life Span 5 to 7 years is expected with good care.
Size 8 to 13 inches
